Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan took to twitter on Saturday and said that he was disappointed by India’s ‘negative’ response over backing out of peace talks.
Khan added that “All my life I
have come
across small men occupying big offices who do not
have the vision to see the larger picture”.
Disappointed
at the arrogant & negative response by India to my call for resumption of the peace dialogue. However, all my life I
have come
across small men occupying big offices who do not
have the vision to see the larger picture.

On September 20, the PM wrote a letter to Indian counterpart Narendra Modi to resume the peace talks be
tween the two countries.
The PM had also asked to arrange a meeting be
tween the foreign ministers of both countries on sidelines of the 73rd United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session.
However, the Indian Ministry of External affairs (MEA) spokesperson Raveesh Kumar on Friday stated that meeting has been cancelled be
tween the dignitaries.
