ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), on Thursday, held a suspect wanted for the murder of Maulana Azam Tariq from Islamabad airport, officials confirmed media.
Maulana Azam Tariq was killed on the outskirts of Islamabad in October 2003 on his return from Jha
ng. He was then a member of the National A
ssembly of Pakistan.
Sabtain Kazmi, the suspect, was held from Islamabad airport, while he was planning to board a UK-bound flight.
