The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have arrested two terrorists, and
recovered explosives, cash a
nd jihadi literature from them on Monday. On a tip, the CTD conducted an operation
in suburbs of Sialkot city during which two alleged terrorists be
longing to a banned outfit were apprehended. Explosives, thousands of rup
ees in cash a
nd jihadi literature were
recovered from the possession of the detainees, who were shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation, officials said.
